The hospitality sector including cafes, bars, restaurants and pubs are at the bedrock of our communities and employ 1 in 10 UK workers...many of these smaller businesses will be struggling to survive the lockdown 2.0 but with your help, support and custom on a regular basis, and by switching that Corporate Coffee for a Bumbles or N03a Coffee, that Maccies Brekkie for JJs or Ollies amazing breakfasts Or that slice of cake at the supermarket café with one of Victoria Plums Kitchen’s cakes they will have a fighting chance against the big boys.
Try one of the many superb independent pubs and restaurants and switch from your usual chain of steak house, cut and paste pubs and restaurants that have swamped our town...Think about trying one of the many great independent pubs in Redditch as that small change of habit will help to bring more quality independents to Redditch and provide an overall better offer and community by far.
(Note; this list is not exhaustive and hope to increase one we have tried out many more great independent restaurants, pubs, cafes and bars ourselves - we won't be listing the many curry houses, Chinese takeaways, fish and chips shops here...unless we absolutely love them...as our list would be huge. If it's not on this list and you think it looks like an independent pub it probably isn't an independent and will be part of a chain of more than 5 outlets; )
Here are some friends of The Orangery and those businesses that are certifiably INDEPENDENT please show some love, support and try switching your usual corporate sip of coffee or filthy fast food burger for a tantalising takeout or booking in when you can with one of these beauts…
